2. Index your website in Google business listing

You need to index your local business with Google, all you need is your company name, address, and contact info and access to “Google my business” page.

3. SEO

SEO stands for “search engine optimization” It’s the process of getting traffic from the organic search results on Google or other search engines. This part is very technical and requires to constantly add and update content. 4. Create Engaging content

You need to create engaging content for your website for 2 reasons:

  • Improve your SEO. If people like to read your blog or watch your videos, your Google ranking will increase and your website will rank above your competitor’s.
  • Engage with clients and show your expertise. People will let you work on and in their home, creating professional and engaging content will show them that you are competent, and they will be more inclined to trust you.

5. Create social media accounts

Social medias can enable you to communicate and increase your brand awareness, especially if your business is new.

9. Network and partners

Network with other local tradies such as electrician or carpenters that you know! Why not also asking to your local hardware store if you can leave some flyers or business cards at the counter?

10. Consistency

Digital marketing needs regular and relevant updating to be effective! Post at least 1 time a week on your blog and twice a week on social medias!
